‘Devastating Combination’ - Yuvraj Singh reacts to Abhishek, Sooryavanshi's explosive show

"And I can’t make 100 of 30 or 34 balls 😜 Well played sir @OfficialAbhi04! Great innings aur apne single bhi le liye 🤷🏻‍♂️ Good stuff on the other end by #VaibhavSooryavanshi! Great series win 👌 congratulations Team India," wrote Yuvraj on X.

Abhishek Sharma smashes explosive century in series-clinching match

Abhishek Sharma produced a sensational knock in the third T20I against New Zealand at Wellington on October 27, 2026. The left-handed batter reached his half-century in just 15 balls before completing his fourth T20I century off 35 deliveries, powering India to a commanding position.

His aggressive approach at the top of the order put the New Zealand bowlers under immense pressure and proved instrumental in India's series-clinching victory.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi shines as Sanju Samson adjusts to No. 3

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi provided excellent support to Abhishek at the other end, scoring 45 runs off just 19 deliveries. The opening pair stitched together a remarkable 133-run partnership in 7.1 overs, giving India a flying start.

Yuvraj also praised Sanju Samson for adapting to the No. 3 position, describing his decision to adjust to the team's requirements as a sign of a complete team player.

India's bowlers complemented the batting unit's dominant display by restricting New Zealand to less than 200 runs. Their disciplined performance ensured that the visitors maintained control of the contest and sealed the series with two matches still to play.

The comprehensive win highlighted India's depth and attacking approach, with contributions from both the young batters and the bowling unit playing a crucial role in securing the series.
