A video of star cricketer MS Dhoni and industrialist Anant Ambani at a Navratri carnival in Jamnagar has spread rapidly across social media, drawing warm reactions from cricket fans. The clip, reported on October 19, 2026, captures a candid exchange at what is believed to be the Reliance Greens venue, where the two were seen enjoying the festivities together.
According to reports, Dhoni and Anant first shared a ride on a jhula. Anant then moved across to a rotating cabin attraction and gestured for Dhoni to join him. The former India captain declined, making it clear through his expression and hand gestures that the spinning motion was not something he was willing to attempt, indicating he might feel unwell if he did. The moment was caught on camera and quickly drew widespread amusement online, with fans noting the relaxed and candid side it revealed of the cricketer away from competitive cricket.
Dhoni, who plays for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, had travelled to Jamnagar with his wife Sakshi, arriving on October 16, to attend the Reliance Navratri 2026 Garba celebrations. The couple were among several notable personalities expected at the event, which drew guests from cricket, entertainment and business.
Why did Dhoni attend the Reliance Navratri 2026 event?

The Reliance Navratri event continued that pattern, with Jamnagar once again serving as the setting for a large-scale celebration that attracted national attention.
How did fans react to Dhoni's gesture at the carnival?
The clip of the former India captain declining the rotating ride resonated strongly with fans, who appreciated the unscripted nature of the moment. Social media users responded with enthusiasm, pointing out that the gesture offered a glimpse of Dhoni's personality outside the pressures of professional cricket. The informal interaction with Anant Ambani added to the appeal of the video.
