Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face off in Match 5 of the ODI tri-series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday, October 27. The match carries heightened stakes after the previous results.
Pakistan have sealed their place in the final of the series after their nervy one-wicket victory. Chasing a total of 242, Pakistan found themselves wobbling and almost out of the contest at 154 for 9. Shadab Khan's maiden ODI century guided the hosts home to a fabulous victory to extend their lead with three wins from three, and seal a place in the final.
Sri Lanka will be playing their first match since their record chase of 430 against England in Rawalpindi. A collaborative batting effort led by Pavan Rathnayake and supported by Janith Liyanage, Dasun Shanaka and Avishka Fernando saw the Lankan Lions upend a mammoth total despite a record-breaking double century from Harry Brook. A victory could see them make the finals.

Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore: Pitch Report
The Gaddafi Stadium is expected to once more offer a surface which favours batters. Poor shotmaking from both sides saw the contest between England and Pakistan become a low-scoring contest. The bowlers were able to receive help in the form of hit-the-deck bowling and occasional grip and turn. The pitch is expected to play the same in this clash as well.
